Glo Everyday Bonanza Winners Receive Prizes



Winners of the Globacom Everyday bonanza on Monday received their prizes as the first set of winners in the on-going Glo promo, including the winner of the brand new Hyundai Accent, as well as other mouth-watering prizes in Lagos.


44-year- old indigene of Takum Local Government of Taraba State, Mr. Shishi Tanini, who won the brand new Hyundai Accent car, was at the event. Others who won flat screen LED TV sets, generators, Refrigerators and Microwave ovens prizes also received their prizes. 

A total of 60 power generating sets, 60 refrigerators, 120 microwave ovens and 30 LED television sets were received by excited subscribers at the Lagos presentation.

Mr. Tanini, father of three, while receiving his star prize expressed gratitude to Globacom for making him a car owner, adding that he will henceforth promote the Glo brand across the nooks and crannies of the country. He advised other subscribers who are not on Glo network to switch over to enjoy wonderful benefits on both voice and data. Glo truly rewards”, he stated.

One of the winners of the generator, Mrs Roseline Anyebe, federal civil servant, said she was short of words and very happy adding that all her family members would henceforth use only Globacom. In the same vein, Mr. Agbaje Bolaji Jamiu, an Estate Surveyor, who won a microwave expressed delight at the recognition and said he felt fulfilled for being given something back by his network of choice.


Dignitaries at the event included Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Wasiu Esinlokun Sanni; Chairman, Lekki Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), Mukundasi O. Ogidan; and National President of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria, Mr. Oriyomi Ayeola.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Sanni said he was proud of Globacom for its unprecedented way of rewarding and empowering its customers. "Globacom is a truly Nigerian company, a pride not only of Nigeria, but of Africa. I congratulate the company for giving back to the society," he enthused.

Globacom said Everyday Bonanza is a customer-appreciation offer to thousands of Glo subscribers to win over 17,000 mouth-watering prizes worth hundreds of millions in naira, adding that this is the first time telecom subscribers in Nigeria will be enjoying this kind of value from service providers in Nigeria.

Globacom said it has consistently brought innovation, quality service delivery and unequalled benefits to its subscribers since 2003 when the company rolled out services.

The presentation ceremony will be held in twenty cities across the country. Abuja will host the next edition on Nov 15. Other cities lined up include Benin, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Ikeja, Suleja, Warri, Onitsha, Ibadan, Ikorodu, Kano, Lokoja, Asaba, Kaduna, Ilorin, Aba, Owerri, Calabar, and Ota.
