Juve Grab Liverpool’s Can For £5.3m Per Season

Emre Can has agreed a five-year contract with Juventus, according to reports in Italy.

Can whose Liverpool contract expires at the end of the season, has stalled on signing a new deal and now appears to be closing in on a move to Italy.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Germany midfielder will don the famous Old Lady colours next season, where he will be earning £5.3million per campaign.

The Italian publication report that Juventus' sporting director Fabio Paratici’s excellent relationship with Can’s agent, Reza Fazeli, was influential in the Serie A giants getting their man.

The 24-year-old had also attracted heavy interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Fellow Italian newspaper Tuttosport claims that Juventus will make an official announcement of Can's signing after Liverpool's Champions League semi-final second leg against Roma on Wednesday.

Can hasn't played for Liverpool since sustaining a back injury in their 5-0 victory over Watford back in March at Anfield.
