Is Dangote's Daughter's Marriage In Danger?

“What God has joined together, let no man put asunder,” they say at almost every wedding ceremony with the hope that the couple will live happily ever after.

But as life is, that is rarely the case. One way or the other, we find people meddling into the affairs of couples, and sometimes these people are even invited to meddle.

Anyway, the wedding of the year, that of billioniare, Dangote’s daughter and Jamil Abubakar may be facing one of those meddlers trying to put asunder.

        

As it is, a lady has come out claiming that Jamil is the father to her two months old baby. According to her, the issue has been ‘hush hush’ for a while as her lawyers and that of Jamil had been working on a settlement but now she has to come out because she thinks that her marriage is in trouble.

The lady, a 22-year-old, Irene Chiamaka Nwachukwu said Jamil never mentioned to her that he was involved with someone else when they got intimate. She said she only found out he was getting married to Dangote's daughter after she was already pregnant with his baby. She was eight months pregnant when the society wedding of Jamil Abubakar and Fatima Dangote held.

I did a bit of digging and found out that Chiamaka is actually a society girl. She is always at the big parties in town and she had been out of circulation for a while. Apparently, she was pregnant during her hiatus.

My source says that it is not impossible for Jamil to be the father, but it is quite unlikely. She says that yes, Jamil was also a social man, but he does not “roll with the likes of Chiamaka.”

  

Chiamaka also revealed that she had tried to get Jamil to have a DNA test, but he refused and instead offered a N40,000 a month as compensation. To her, the amount is absurd and she gave a counter claim of N100m, which Jamil’s lawyer refused.

My source, who knows Jamil, claims that he would never abandon a baby or try to pay her off if indeed he had something to do with her. “He won’t do that. He is a responsible man. He would accept the child and take care of it if indeed he is the father. The girls is just seeking attention,” the source says.
