Arsenal Set Snatch Chelsea’s Musonda

Arsenal are looking at raiding London rivals Chelsea for unhappy youngster Charly Musonda, according to reports in France.

The 21-year-old has made four appearances for the Blues so far this season, including two starts in the Carabao Cup.


Musonda, whose Chelsea contract runs out in 2019, turned down the opportunity to leave Stamford Bridge on loan in the summer as he wanted to fight for a first-team spot.


However, he has failed to nail down a place in Antonio Conte's side and according to French publication Foot Mercato, Musonda is now looking to leave in January.


Foot Mercato have reported that one of the Belgian youngster's close friends told them: 'Charly has informed Chelsea that he will not extend, regardless of the proposal and that he will seek to leave the club in January.
'He believes it is time for him to play football regularly and sees no hope of having much more play time than currently, and to have a big role with Chelsea.'
