Otedola, Please Back Down Just A Bit

The billionaire, Femi Otedola is a man after my heart, and that is mostly because of the way he treats his children. He puts them in high esteem and is not afraid to flaunt them. He supports them in all they do and makes sure the best from Nigeria are working with them at all times.

We all saw the support he had for DJ Cuppy, her first child to show interest in the Nigerian entertainment scene. He was at every event she Deejayed and also made sure the best hands worked with her.

This week, another of her daughter, of his, Tolani decided to launch herself into the music world, and it was done like everything Otedola does, in an extreme fashion.

Every one of his friends was there. The who is who is the private sector and media owners were all there.

All these, however, tell one sad tale. The event was not for Tolani, it was for Otedola. Most of the people at the event were over 50 years. The only people from the entertainment industry were Don Jazzy and Dr. Sid. There was no young person around and the media mean available were few. Just the bosses alone. I think Daddy should backdown a bit and let Tolani embrace the music industry organically, and vice versa.
